**Please review the course and know it before participating in it. The course will be marked adequately. Deviation from this course is not the fault of the event or event staff and deviation that results in shortening of the specified race course will result in disqualification. There will not be staff at each turn. There will be maps at the registration area, but we will not have time to explain the course in detail to each racer. Transition spaces aren't reserved. You pick your place when you arrive on race day. We will be using the New Beach parking area as the transition area, as well as the surrounding areas as needed.

The water will be 82-84 degrees. There will be rescue boats in the water to assist if needed. A buoy will mark the turnaround point.

There will be a course sweeper and support vehicles so that you don't become stranded.

There will be several water/aid stations set up throughout the course.

The course will be open, but there will be flaggers at large intersections, which are few, along with ample course markings to include road markings, flags, banners, etc.

The swim will be marked with Colored Buoys separating the incoming/outgoing traffic. You will swim toward the turn-around point with the buoys on your left and swim back towards shore with the buoys on your right.

We do not provide swim caps, race number belts, and other gear to racers. There will be a booth where these items can be purchased.

There will be one aid station during the bike course and one aid station during the running portion. These will be roughly at the half-way points of each segment. They will be staffed, but not heavily enough to give aid to every member of large groups coming through.

There will be onsite Medical, including Paramedics and Nurses, with quick acquisition of ambulances and/or medical air transport if needed.
